The Inaugural Run of the Empress, CP 2816
As my interest turns into the beginnings of obsession, I convinced myself (not that it took a lot of effort) to follow the inaugural run of CP 2816, known as the CPR Empress, from Field, BC to Calgary. It was definitely worth the time and money (gas is expensive when you’re constantly speeding, stopping and starting).
