iPhone looks very tempting!

Must be nice, dude. I'd LOVE to have something that simple with Telus. But nooooooooo, they don't want to move to GSM like the rest of the planet, making us poor sops useless outside of North America.

Our contract is up in October, and I'm wondering what they're going to do to us. I'm grandparented from ClearNet, so I've got a pretty good contract that's going to be hard to give up. That said, there's a lot of good stuff out now that wasn't there before (and I ain't talking about just the iPhone).

I use Rogers and it was a breeze to get a new phone:
1. Go into Rogers store and select new phone
2. Recharge phone
3. Swap chips with my old phone
4. Voila - new phone... works great, no muss, no fuss.
